Keepers of the Broken is a Missouri 501 (C)3 Non-profit Organization dedicated to bringing awareness and educating our community on the dangers of Domestic Violence. We advocate for and assist women, children, and men who are victims of domestic violence by providing access to resources, transportation to local shelters, and court escort support. Our mission is to empower survivors and help them rebuild their lives by supplying a safe and supportive community where they can heal and thrive. We believe that no one should suffer in silence.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
A nonprofit is as strong as the community that holds it up. Together, we can do more than we can do alone. Let's bring our abilities and passions together to effect real change. There are many ways to join us and support our mission. To Our Community Members/Supporters,
We want to take a moment to address recent changes within Keepers of the Broken. As the President of our Missouri-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, I am writing to express our sincerest apologies for any confusion that may have arisen.
Our primary mission has always been to assist victims of domestic violence by offering essential resources and support. Over time, our dedication to this cause has made us prominently associated with keywords like "shelter" in online searches. However, we want to clarify that we are not a physical shelter but rather a resource that connects individuals in need with available domestic violence shelters and provides potential transportation to these shelters if required.
Recently, we have undergone significant changes, including restructuring our board members, policies, and bylaws. While these changes were necessary to enhance our effectiveness and commitment to helping victims of domestic violence,
We understand that they may have temporarily affected our availability and responsiveness. We acknowledge that this transition period has been challenging, and we deeply regret any inconvenience it may have caused those seeking our assistance during this time.
Please know that our organization remains deeply committed to our mission of supporting victims of domestic violence and connecting them to the vital resources they need. We are actively working to improve our services and ensure we can continue providing timely and accurate assistance to those who rely on us.
Your trust and support are incredibly important to us, and we are genuinely sorry for any disruption or confusion our recent changes may have caused.
We are grateful for your understanding and patience as we navigate these transitions and strive to emerge stronger and more effective in our mission.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to positively impact the lives of domestic violence victims in our community.
Sincerely,
Tammy Payne
